We are proud to recognize Grant Kim, a senior at The Haverford School, as our September Casey’s Student of the Month!
Grant is an outstanding example of a student who leads by serving others. Throughout his time at The Haverford School, he has dedicated himself to building a more inclusive, supportive and connected school community through his leadership and volunteer efforts.
Grant serves as a board member and co-president of the Pan Asian Alliance (PAA), where he helps promote cultural awareness and strengthen connections among students. He is also an active member of the Academic Mentorship Program (AMP), offering guidance and encouragement to fellow students. As a Focus student leader and peer counselor, Grant is committed to helping classmates feel supported both academically and personally. His involvement doesn’t stop there—he is also a member of the Haverford Electronics Club and helped organize the school’s annual coat drive, ensuring local families in need stayed warm during the winter months.
In addition to his impressive service, Grant is a dedicated student-athlete, competing on both the cross country and track and field teams, where he demonstrates the same commitment, perseverance and teamwork that define his leadership.
As graduation approaches, Grant is exploring colleges and is considering a major in engineering, business or a combination of both. With his passion for leadership, service and learning, there’s no doubt he has a bright future ahead.
Congratulations, Grant, on an exceptional high school journey marked by leadership, service and achievement. We wish you all the best as you begin this exciting new chapter and look forward to seeing all you accomplish in the years ahead!
You get to choose! Who is our next Student of the Month?
You’ve seen them featured in our magazine—now it’s your chance to decide who’s next!
We’re looking for students in grades 7–12 who make a difference in their schools, communities, among friends or through local organizations. Nominees must live in Marple, Newtown Square or Edgmont, no matter which school they attend—or if they’re homeschooled. Email LJeffries@BestVersionMedia.com. We’re celebrating character, not just credentials, so academic or athletic accomplishments are not required.
